Serial Perfect Storms

Caught in perfect storrns,
one right after the other,
I am exhausted.

Sirens are blaring
alerts about my high stress.
I am really scared.

Can my fragile health
survive through this brutal stress
or will MS win?

HI JUDY - I feel your storms as my own - the power of life can drain me, us, of vital balancing energy. I look every where for renewed strength and energy to sustain me - usually it hides and I have to wait for a sign that it is there for me to claim - some times the search and relief is longer than other times. Hang on to the mast because smooth sailing will come again.
Love Gail

Judy, I know you've been writing about stress for a while now. I hope that it subsides soon and you won't let that brutal enemy win!
Peace,
Muff

Gail, Karen, Mary, and Muff,
Life was already filled with significant stressors when we also then got hacked and scammed. Because my husband is ill, I had to handle most of it, which was days and days of phone calls and scrambling to make sure our finances were not drained to zero, identity stolen, etc etc. Then this was followed by a barrage of harrassing phone calls. There is still stuff to resolve but I believe we managed to avoid the worst. At least I hope so, but now I am suffering from significant post traumatic stress about what I just went through, and that is not even considering the fallout for my MS. It is not happy, I know, but I hope it will settle down soon too. Your words were very comforting, and tomorrow's poem is dedicated to you.
