Companions along the Way

If one is lucky,
companions along the way
lead us to safety.

Being loved builds up
one’s capacity to thrive.
We should all be loved.

Whether through a pet,
a person or circumstance,
love is a healer.

So very true! We, too, have an obligation to allow ourselves to be open to that love.
(Just a random photo, or your husband and pup???)
Peace,
Muff

Judy,

Thank you for your poems. They so often capture the ups and downs that come with my own health. It couldn't be more true that having a companion is a gift to be celebrated and appreciated.

I am grateful for all the love I receive. Love is indeed a great healer, and I strongly believe that includes loving ourselves.

Muff, that's husband and then pup.

AutoimmuneGal,I am so glad my poems resonate.

Karen, yes, loving ourselves. Thanks for bringing that up.
